Project management tools to that effect also had to scale up to address such a change of delivery framework. Scrum and Kanban have become the go to framework as we speak and this is where CollabNet has focussed its new release of its agile software. The new ScrumworksPro 6.0 comes with complete support for managing “Kanban,” a continuous process method rooted in Lean software development, and the ability to manage both Scrum and Kanban teams from a single tool to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve visibility.

Managing so much complexity is not easy. The ALM tools play a crucial role here by increasing collaboration between globally distributed development, testing, infrastructure and operations teams throughout the ALM cycle involving planning, coding, tracking, building and testing, lab management, release and report.
