The meet is presented by youngStartup Ventures. The event is expected to see over 40 top tier VCs, corporate VCs and angel investors in attendance, talking on the key issues facing investors and Startup CEOs alike. Industry experts will provide updated analyses and share their experience with the audience.
Around 50 early stage and emerging growth technology, life sciences and clean-tech innovators will present their plans live to leading investors. A select group of 50 top innovators from the technology, life sciences, and clean-tech sectors will be chosen to present their breakthrough investment opportunities to an exclusive audience of VCs, private investors, investment bankers, corporate investors and strategic partners.
Part of the Top-50 innovators will be accells Technologies Ltd, a leading cyber security innovator of mobile ID and smart authentication services. The Israeli company’s mobile-based system addresses the lack of security inherent in user-managed passwords and the significant limitations of token/one-time-password based solutions.
At the Venture Summit West, the accells team will demonstrate the usability and the adaptive approach of its secure smartphone authentication service.
As the first authentication product designed with online and mobile use in mind, accells enables people to use their smartphones as a mobile ID for smart identification and access to any cloud, web, VPN, social media or mobile service in any context - online, mobile, call center, or at the POS. This is also a completely tokenless product, with a context-based approach to multi-factor authentication. The technology leverages all relevant authentication factors such as location, devices-used and credentials.
“We are looking forward to telling investors with how easy it is to use a patented security technology,’’ said accells CEO Eckhard Ortwein. “With more and more companies deploying cloud-based services and BYOD strategies, accells is poised to both disrupt as well as accelerate the $2B authentication market. The market’s move beyond passwords is underway.”
accells’ core intellectual property securing mobile transactions and data-access is already patented in the USA, with multiple additional patents pending.
